Business in the Community's (BITC) Waste to Wealth campaign supports businesses to define individual and collaborative action plans and start to identify innovative solutions to shared challenges.
Bristol is at the forefront of this endeavour and BITC would like to explore how the collective strength of our network can unlock opportunities to double the nation’s resource productivity and eliminate avoidable waste by 2030.
This event will enable us to come together with like-minded organisations, explore opportunities, share learning and try out new ideas in Bristol. More specifically, we will:
- Discuss local environmental priorities/issues
- Share where support and engagement from others will help move the dial
- Explore how Business in the Community’s environment programmes can support what you are trying to achieve
- Identify opportunities to collaborate across Bristol
We will spend much of the time in small groups where you’ll get the opportunity to share your ideas and get advice from environmental experts and peers. Our intention is that you’ll leave with a better understanding of Bristol’s challenges and priorities and what you might do within your own organisation to make a difference.
This event is by invitation only. If you think you should have received an invite and have not, or are interested in attending, please contact Jo-Anne Holroyd.
Light refreshments will be served.
