​It was announced in Prime Ministers Questions today that the government will create a fund for £1.6 billion that will include town deals. The announcement, part of the government’s commitment to town regeneration is one that the Blackpool Pride of Place Partnership under the umbrella of Business in the Community, welcomes wholeheartedly.
The Community Investment Team at Business in the Community in conjunction with Simetrica, a leading research consultancy specialising in social impact measurement and policy evaluation, are running a session on measuring your social impact.
This course is based around five principles of best practice community investment. This framework provides companies with a clear system to evaluate current activity and plan future developments, both on a strategic and delivery level.
