Developing tools to support decision making

Responsible Procurement - Supplier Assessment Tool
We supported a company in the infrastructure sector in improving the robustness of its tendering process. We provided a strengthened Invitation to Tender (ITT) question set, an assessment tool, and scoring guidance to assess supplier responses.
Stakeholder Engagement Toolkit
We supported a company in the transport sector to review and identify key issues of concern to stakeholders by developing an engagement toolkit. The toolkit included guidance on how to best interact with their key stakeholder audiences, as well as information on how to effectively prioritise stakeholder engagement and communicate outcomes of discussions.
Training staff and other stakeholders
We also support clients by upskilling people responsible for the implementation of responsible business practice.

Defining key performance indicators
We work with companies to develop and review key performance indicators (KPIs) for their responsible business practices. These KPIs are used by businesses for internal and external stakeholder engagement and reporting as well as to ensure that companies are able to effectively measure and manage the impacts of their operations and programmes.
Establishing baselines for responsible business practices
A baseline assessment helps companies to understand how responsible business practise is integrated in the business and identify areas of strength and areas for further improvement. Undertaking a baseline assessment also enables businesses to engage people across the organisation and promote cross-team collaboration.

CR Index - Private
A CR Index - Private is undertaken through the use of the online CR Index survey (link open to a different window) which has been developed to focus on the key areas of responsible business: Strategy, Governance and Integration and the four pillars: Community, Environment, Workplace and Marketplace. Results are benchmarked against good practice in responsible business management as well as the scores of other companies in the same sector.

CR Index - Global Portfolio
The CR Index - Global Portfolio is available for companies who are looking to compare how responsible business practice is being managed across regional and subsidiary business units. This assessment utilises the CR Index questionnaire which is undertaken by individual units with results benchmarked against each other as well as the group.

Bespoke Baseline Assessment
